The Councilor for Historical Recreation, Borja López, together with Belén Núñez, a technician from the Tourism Office, have announced in a press conference the opening of tickets sales for the grandstands at the Historical Recreation of Almansa. Sales will start at 7:15 pm and will be available at the ticket office from Wednesday to Friday, from 7:15 to 9:15 pm.
As a novelty for this edition, the City Council has increased the number of available seats in the grandstands. «Normally, 1,500 seats per show were set up, but this year we have managed to increase the number to 1,875, adding an additional row to each grandstand,» explained López. This measure is in response to the high demand recorded in the previous edition when tickets sold out in early April.
The distribution of the grandstands will remain as in previous years, starting with those located next to Paseo Néstor Almendros (from A to H). As these fill up, the grandstands on the opposite side will be opened.
The historical reenactments will take place on Saturday at 6:00 pm and on Sunday at 12:30 pm, following the institutional act on the castle stairs.
On the other hand, Núñez detailed that tickets can be purchased at the physical ticket office starting this afternoon or on the online platform available on the Almansa Tourist website. «On the website, we have a dedicated section for the battle commemoration, where visitors can check the program in multiple languages, access ticket sales, and get useful information to plan their trip,» she pointed out.
The City Council is confident that, like last year, tickets will sell out before the event. «This year we have almost 400 more seats, but we hope to fill the grandstands again and put up the ‘sold out’ sign,» Núñez concluded.
