Albacete is hosting the V Health Innovation Conference on Tuesday and Wednesday, organized by the Ministry of Health of Castilla-La Mancha and aimed at 254 healthcare executives working in the public management of the Autonomous Community.
Currently, Castilla-La Mancha is on the verge of a model change, in a year where the Health Plan Horizon 2025 concludes, which has brought us to this point, and work is already underway on the new Health Plan, named H3.0, which will take us to 2030.
The new model that is being pursued must be based on «shared responsibility», on taking care of ourselves, and on having healthy habits that dominate and prevail in our state of health.
It has been proven that good health will help us better address chronicity and aging, so we will live longer and better. That is why we must focus more on health than on healthcare, on the term «self-care» rather than «cure,» on the concept of responsibility, common participation, and protection against unhealthy habits.
Furthermore, the organization’s concern about the effects of climate change is emphasized, a concern that will be reflected in the new model with strategies that promote, as an organization, a greater environmental culture to achieve a better living environment, without the harmful effects of climate that can affect society’s health.
