Dolz elogia logros del Estudio de Danza Rosario Tosta en el Certamen Nacional y su pase al Europeo

Darío Dolz, the mayor of Cuenca, and Charo Rodríguez, the Sports Councillor, have congratulated the members of the Rosario Tosta Dance Studio and their team of teachers for their numerous awards at the National Dance Competition of Spain (CNDE), held in early May in Burgos. Among these awards were first and second prizes, as well as accolades from the jury for the seven group choreographies and three duets that were presented, five of which have secured a direct pass to the 2025 European Dance Championship in Dijon, France.

Dolz praised the participants for their outstanding achievements, emphasizing «the magnificent level of dance in its various disciplines, as evidenced by your notable trophies at the National Competition, proving that Rosario’s motto is absolutely true: ‘In Cuenca, we dance, and we dance well’.»

During the reception at the City Hall Plenary Hall, the mayor presented them with a flag of Cuenca «so you can display it at the European Championship, as you are putting the city at the forefront of dance.»

In total, they achieved two second places and three first places in the national competition, as well as five with special mention or unanimous jury approval. In total, five choreographies have secured a direct pass to the European Dance Championship.

The choreographies span various disciplines, including flamenco, urban dance, commercial dance, and fusion in the senior category.
