Yesterday, a very special institutional visit took place in Almansa within the framework of the Enred@2 project, an educational initiative of interterritorial collaboration involving Cepa Castillo Almansa, along with other adult education centers in Catalonia and Castilla y León.
During the day, the mayor of Almansa offered a guided tour of the City Hall, highlighting the historical and heritage value of the building, and showing support for this project that promotes digital literacy and social inclusion for adult citizens.
The director of CEPA Castillo de Almansa, José Antonio Ibáñez López, explained the objectives of the Enred@2 project, selected by the Ministry of Education, and with partners such as CFA Sant Boi (Sant Boi de Llobregat, Catalonia) and CEPA Pisuerga (Aguilar de Campoo, Palencia). This collaboration aims to share technological experiences and develop educational activities that reduce the digital divide, especially among adults seeking to improve their digital skills and employability.
During the 2024-2025 school year, three teacher mobilities have been scheduled between the participating centers to prepare for future activities with students. This third mobility takes place in Almansa from April 24 to 26, coinciding with the historical reenactment of the Battle of Almansa in 1707, a perfect opportunity to showcase the cultural richness of the city to visitors.
