El Ayuntamiento de Cuenca impone nuevas sanciones a grafiteros identificados por la Policía Nacional

The City Council of Cuenca has opened two new sanctioning proceedings against two graffiti artists, each with a value of 1,500 euros, as well as the repair of the damage – cleaning of the graffiti – as established in the Municipal Ordinance for the Protection of Public Spaces and Citizen Coexistence.

It is the result of an action that includes citizen collaboration and the intervention of the National Police in response to this act of vandalism that occurred on February 13th, as a witness saw the two reported individuals, who are minors, and photographed and recorded them, proceeding to inform the National Police. Officers from this force located the offenders, took them into custody, and even had to arrest one of them for assaulting a police officer and serious disobedience.

These two new complaints are added to the one announced a few days ago, as well as those that were enforced between April and July of last year, surpassing a total of twenty cases, all with fines of 1,500 euros each. Additionally, in March, the National Police detained a graffiti artist who had caused damages estimated at 18,000 euros in residential communities and local establishments in Cuenca.
