The tourist image of Castilla-La Mancha sponsors the Futsal Club Viña Albali Valdepeñas, as announced at an event by the second vice president of the Castilla-La Mancha Government, José Manuel Caballero, accompanied by the Deputy Mayor of Culture and Tourism, Vanessa Irla, and the club’s president Luis Palencia.
In statements to the media, Irla highlighted the regional government’s commitment to sports and the support of the Valdepeñas City Council for the club, which has managed to mobilize an entire city by being a reference in futsal, allowing the futsal sports school to continue growing.
The investment amounts to 50,000 euros and is part of the one million euros that the regional government has allocated to support sports clubs in the region, which operate at the highest levels with the aim of using their visibility to promote tourism in the region.
Caballero acknowledged the club’s effort and commitment in representing Valdepeñas and Castilla-La Mancha throughout Spain. For this reason, he mentioned that «from President García-Page’s government, we are aware of the positive impact of having such a high-level team in the region, and in a town like Valdepeñas, which serves as a reference for values, a meeting point, and a boost to economic and social dynamism.»
