The Valdepeñas city has hosted the Executive Committee of the Business Federation of Ciudad Real (FECIR) at the CNC Bárcenas company, which has recently formed an alliance with ETRAIR, a specialist in unmanned aerial vehicles solutions.
Valdepeñas welcomed this Thursday the regular session of the Executive Committee of the Business Federation of Ciudad Real (FECIR), held at the CNC Bárcenas company, as part of its itinerant program across the industrial regions of the province to highlight their value.
The meeting was concluded by the mayor of the city, Jesús Martín, who emphasized the significance of companies like CNC Bárcenas in their contribution to technological development. He mentioned, «They have just signed a spectacular contract for their drone printers, which in the times of potential conflicts ahead, we need companies like these, because defense also involves research and development, which is industrial development for the production of intelligence that safeguards us. And that is present in Valdepeñas.»
The mayor also referred to the strategic alliance that the Valdepeñas-based company, located in the Entrecaminos Business Park, has formed with ETRAIR, a specialist in unmanned aerial vehicle solutions and part of the ETRA Group, a prominent national industrial group revolutionizing the world of drones.
In this context, the president of FECIR, Carlos Marín, stated, «Business unity is crucial, and visiting companies like CNC Bárcenas shows us that a long history is not necessary to achieve great things.» He emphasized that «innovation and technological development can be fostered from a company starting from scratch, like those in FECIR, working with major corporations by leveraging our greatest asset, which is our people and our training.»
The Business Federation of Ciudad Real (FECIR) represents over 12,500 entrepreneurs and self-employed individuals from the entire province and across almost all business sectors, through its 37 associations, federations, and/or sections of entrepreneurs and/or self-employed individuals.
