Valdepeñas facilitates the conciliation of 60 families during Holy Week
Valdepeñas offers a free service called ‘Días sin cole’ (Days without school) to help with work-life balance during the Easter holidays, benefiting 60 families. This initiative is part of the Corresponsables Plan and takes place at the Youth Center for children and youth aged 4 to 16, providing family reconciliation from 9:00 to 14:00.
"In these ‘Days without school’ held at the Youth Center by the Equality department, we aim to support the much-needed reconciliation for families on non-school days that are working days," said Equality Councilor Inmaculada Pacheco. She added, "This way, their children are in good hands, engaging in fun and educational activities for the enjoyment of the children in our city."
This free service operates during the non-school days of Holy Week, on April 14, 15, 16, and 21, offering various activities like crafts, scavenger hunts, age-appropriate games, laughter therapy workshops, and a responsibility calendar.
Pacheco highlighted the high demand for this service, announcing that the Corresponsables Plan will be in operation from May onwards, extending throughout 2025.
