La danza española y la danza contemporánea volverán a tener un año más protagonismo en las calles de Valdepeñas con la cuarta edición de ‘Valdepeñas en Danza’, que tendrá lugar este fin de semana con la participación de 120 alumnos de danza. Se trata de una iniciativa de la Escuela de Marta Serrano, con el apoyo del Ayuntamiento de Valdepeñas, que pretende acercar la danza a la ciudadanía en diferentes espacios públicos.
La teniente de alcalde de Cultura, Vanessa Irla, ha recordado durante la presentación de esta nueva edición que “esta actividad llevamos varios años realizándola en la Plaza Constitución, Plaza España y otros espacios de la localidad, con el objetivo de acercar la danza a la ciudadanía y acercar la belleza y expresividad que solo el movimiento puede ofrecer”.
Por ello ha querido hacer un llamamiento a la ciudadanía para que participe en estas actividades en las que hay detrás muchas horas de trabajo y dedicación por parte de todo el alumnado.
‘Valdepeñas en Danza’ ofrecerá este viernes 25 en la Plaza de España, a partir de las 18:20 horas, una barrada de danza clásica, y a las 20:15 horas, en la Plaza Constitución, baile que tocará diferentes palos del flamenco, y el sábado, 26 de abril, a partir de las 20:15 horas, se ofrecerá en la Plaza Constitución una muestra de danza clásica, urbana y contemporánea.
Marta Serrano ha señalado que “esta es la cuarta edición que hacemos junto al ayuntamiento, y este año la hemos querido hacer coincidir con el Día Mundial de la Danza siguiendo la premisa de acercar la danza a todos los públicos e ir al encuentro del espectador, para acercar este arte a todo el mundo”.
Por ello, el martes 29 habrá una actividad para acercar la danza al alumnado de la Escuela Municipal Infantil de Cachiporro, y el miércoles 30 se realizará un taller de danza inclusiva en el IES Francisco Nieva, donde interactuará su alumnado con usuarios de la Asociación de Familiares y Amigos de Personas Con Discapacidad Intelectual (AFAD).
