Viña Rock: Éxito rotundo con 240.000 asistentes en cuatro días.

A few hours before the end of the XXVIII edition of the Viña Rock Festival, the event organizers and the City Council of Villarrobledo have described the development of the festival as a «resounding success.» A total of 240,000 people have attended the festival over the four days.

The deputy mayor, Cristina García, was accompanied by the councilor of culture, Juan José Calero, and by the representatives of the promoting company, David Sánchez and Juan Carlos Gutiérrez.

In this context, García states that Viña Rock represents an important boost for the city, both for the commerce sector and for the hospitality and hotel sector, highlighting three fundamental pillars for Villarrobledo such as «having a space reserved for the promotion and tasting of local wines, having a space for the visibility of Villarrobledo’s associations, and having the promoting company work with local businesses for catering services, supporting local products.»

With all this, the government official has congratulated all those involved in the organization, development, and security of the festival, from the Security Forces, Local Police, Civil Protection, Firefighters, health services, cleaning company, and all municipal services, as well as the residents for their hospitality, as reported by the City Council in a press release.

On his part, Juan Carlos Gutiérrez states that the Viña Rock Festival is an «absolute reference» in the musical panorama of our country, thanks to the joint effort of administrations like the City Council and the Regional Government, involving all the workers of the promoting company The Music Republic, technicians, volunteers, and «of course, the artists,» the media, and all the people of Villarrobledo «for welcoming the Viña Rock fans every year,» highlighting their «exemplary behavior» in a festival known for its civility, respect, and diversity, being, in his words, «an oasis of coexistence in turbulent times like the ones we live in.»

Proudly, according to Gutiérrez, of the qualitative leap that the festival has experienced with «a more comfortable, sustainable, efficient, and beautiful venue» where over these 4 days more than 240,000 people have attended, with 7 stages and over 100 bands of different styles, proving, he says, that «the energy of Viña is more alive than ever.»

For the councilor of culture, Viña Rock is a great cultural event that puts Villarrobledo on the map, thanking the promoting company for all their work in achieving a new success for the festival. A «brand that continues to grow,» with the involvement and commitment of the City Council.

Sánchez adds that the economic impact generated by Viña Rock exceeds 22 million euros in Villarrobledo, the region, and the province, creating over 1,800 direct jobs and more than 3,000 indirect ones.

David Sánchez concludes emphasizing that Viña Rock «is a very powerful brand,» highlighting «the unique experience» lived at this festival where he states there is a «perfect communion» between Viña Rock fans and the residents of Villarrobledo, «something that doesn’t happen in any other festival.»

He explains the company’s commitment to continue accommodating associations and local wineries, at the City Council’s suggestion, and hiring local businesses to provide the necessary services for the festival, emphasizing culture, corporate social responsibility, sustainability, and technology.

The «emotional edition» comes to a close, where the reunion of La Raíz on tour, with the health problems of their singer Pablo Pérez, the farewell of Lágrimas de Sangre, and the 40th anniversary of Fermín Muguruza’s tour were experienced.

He concludes by highlighting the essential work done «hand in hand» with the City Council to execute an event of the magnitude of Viña Rock, working throughout the year to be able to speak of a new success in this 2025.
