Tres arrestados en Maranchón con extensos antecedentes tras evadir control policial

The Civil Guard of the Command of Guadalajara has arrested three individuals in Maranchón after fleeing with the vehicle they were driving from a police checkpoint.

The events that led to these arrests took place around 11:00 am last Wednesday, when the occupants of a van fled at the moment they were about to be identified by two Civil Guard patrols located at kilometer 50 of the N-211 road, near the town of Rillo de Gallo.

The fugitives traveled more than 30 kilometers, invading both lanes of traffic at high speed, until they were finally intercepted in the town of Maranchón, where the three occupants abandoned the vehicle and fled, being arrested in the urban area of the town and in its outskirts, after resisting arrest.

The detainees were carrying various clothing, tools, and over 150 kilos of stripped cable, which had been burned to remove its plastic coating, as reported by the Civil Guard in a press release.

The Civil Guard filed proceedings for the arrest of three males, of Romanian nationality, aged between 26 and 33 years old, all with numerous criminal records, as alleged perpetrators of the crimes of disobedience, against road safety, and of receiving stolen goods, which were handed over along with the detainees to the investigating court of Molina de Aragón.

In this police operation, patrols from the Citizen Security Service of Molina de Aragón, Cifuentes, Torremocha del Campo, and the Traffic Detachment of the Civil Guard of Sigüenza participated.
