CCOO C-LM considera «mala noticia» el aplazamiento del debate sobre reducción de jornada y no descarta movilizaciones

CCOO de Castilla-La Mancha has described the postponement of the parliamentary debate on the reduction of the working day as «bad news,» considering it «an urgency» and not ruling out carrying out mobilizations to push forward this regulation.

This was stated by the regional secretary of CCOO, Javier Ortega, in response to questions from the media during a press conference, affirming that the reduction of the working day is a «social necessity» with «very important support.»

«Unfortunately, the scenarios of parliamentary geometry have made it difficult for the Government to proceed with this bill as planned, which was before the summer,» he added.

In this sense, he referred to the possibility of resuming the processing after the summer, indicating that for CCOO, this law is «an urgency.»

Hence, he does not rule out «a scenario of mobilizations» in support of its approval, stating that it will have a strong response from CCOO, and I am convinced of UGT, at the moment it can be processed,» he emphasized.
