Comienza la Campaña de Limpieza Intensiva en las pedanías de Cuenca

The City Council of Cuenca has already started the Intensive Cleaning Campaign, specifically on Tuesday, July 1st, beginning with the rural districts. So, until this Saturday, the 5th, it is taking place in Nohales, Cólliga, Colliguilla, and Villanueva de los Escuderos; while next week, from the 7th to the 12th of July, it will continue through Mohorte, La Melgosa, Tondos, and Valdecabras.

The Municipal Intensive Cleaning Campaign, carried out by the concessionaire FCC, involves intervening in specific areas of the city parallel to the daily regular cleaning, and will be carried out over three months, until September included.

The Councilor for the Environment, Alberto Castellano, has explained that the service has been reinforced with the hiring of 12 workers «who carry out tasks such as clearing, blowing, sweeping, cleaning of drains, removal of signage, elimination of graffiti, high-pressure water and soap washing for stain removal… thereby fulfilling the commitment made by this Government team to leave our city neighborhoods and rural districts in the best possible way, without neglecting the daily tasks that are being carried out in them.»
