Emiliano García-Page afirma que en España no hay nadie con sentido común para reescribir la Constitución.

Emiliano García-Page maintains that in Spain, no one has been born who «with common sense can rewrite the Constitution»

The head of the regional government has stated that throughout tonight and particularly tomorrow, the meteorological situation could become complicated and has requested that caution be taken, especially in the vicinity of rivers, particularly the Alberche and the Henares. «We have all services deployed and monitoring, but we must be very cautious, not only in the face of this phenomenon, but also in the face of what is becoming very common,» he added.

Nambroca (Toledo), March 11, 2025.- The president of Castilla-La Mancha, Emiliano García-Page, attended this afternoon in Nambroca (Toledo) the presentation of the new section that the digital ‘El Debate’ opens in Castilla-La Mancha. It was in this context that the head of the regional government stated that in Spain, no one has been born who, «with common sense, can rewrite the Constitution.»

The Castilian-Manchego leader made this statement after presenting the region as an Autonomous Community where «a reasonable climate of certainty prevails, allowing us to lead the lists of business confidence. You will find a land that does not argue about what it is because we are very clear about who we are: an Autonomous Community that wants to play with the same cards as others want to play with,» he said.

The first words of President García-Page’s speech were to urge caution regarding the meteorological situation and stated that tomorrow, in particular, it could worsen. Thus, he requested that caution be exercised, especially in the vicinity of the Alberche and Henares rivers. «We have all services deployed and monitoring, but we must be very cautious, not only in the face of this phenomenon, but also in the face of what is becoming very common,» he pointed out.

The president, who welcomed the new digital media outlet, acknowledged that they will contribute in many ways to the region that is «growing, in social development, and in a moment to continue advancing, and that for a long time now, takes advantage of its positional place on the map; and that is in a good moment.» Likewise, he considered that the media, particularly digital media, have contributed to reaching a much larger audience with information.

In this same context, he acknowledged that in this land, there is a natural debate that occurs between different political forces, but agreements are still reached. «The reality is that we are proud of who we are, and here, constructive debate can take place,» he acknowledged, explaining that in Castilla-La Mancha, «we are moving at a more normal, calmer pace.»

Likewise, he opined that one of the major problems that the Spanish press may have today is thinking that Spain is limited to what happens within the M30. «There is an immense Spain that thinks differently, sees things with a different normality, and greatly mitigates the constant stress that current politics leads us to,» he argued.

Lastly, García-Page recognized that Castilla-La Mancha is a region that strives to fulfill the task assigned to it in ’78, «an Autonomous Community that seeks to exercise its powers and raises its voice when it comes to others aspiring, not to have more, which is legitimate, but to have more than others by system, they will always find us there,» he concluded.
