● María del Mar Marqués ha señalado que la actividad se enmarca en el programa de envejecimiento activo del Centro de Mayores del Lucero.
Los paraguas volverán este año a colgar en las calles de Valdepeñas y contarán un año más con los originales paraguas elaborados con ganchillo, que ahora se pueden ver de cerca en una exposición en el Auditorio Inés Ibáñez Braña.
Una muestra que reúne algunos de los 120 ejemplares que se colgarán este año en la calle Juan Alcaide y que han sido elaborados por el taller de ganchillo creativo del Centro de Mayores del Lucero, junto a voluntarias del Centro Social Cachiporro y la asociación de Virgen de la Cabeza.
“Esta actividad está enmarcada dentro del envejecimiento activo que tanto promovemos desde el Centro de Mayores del Lucero”, ha subrayado la concejala de Servicios Sociales, María del Mar Marqués, afirmando de esta manera que “el ganchillo es el yoga de la mente, está recomendado por psicoterapeutas para conseguir esa relajación así que es deporte para nuestra mente y se entrena también de esta manera”.
El grupo de ganchillo creativo lo conforman actualmente un grupo de diez personas, que tejen con ovillos de lana cedidos por particulares. Antonia Sánchez es monitora voluntaria de este grupo de ganchillo creativo, que ha explicado que “hay quien lo hace con una plantilla y se va fijando, y otras lo hacen conforme le van saliendo según su creatividad, con mucho cariño y amor, porque al principio cuesta trabajo, pero luego relaja”.
La exposición de paraguas elaborados con ganchillo se puede visitar los días 17 y 18 de junio en el Auditorio Inés Ibáñez Braña, en horario de 10:30 a 13:30 horas y de 18:30 a 20:30 horas.

The crochet umbrella exhibition can be visited on June 17 and 18 at the Inés Ibáñez Braña Auditorium, from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm and from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
