The Mayor of Valdepeñas has inaugurated Tiendanimal this Friday, a new establishment dedicated to pet products that joins the recent openings of stores like Action, Kik, Sprinter, Jysk, or Pepco in the open shopping park in the northern area of the city. The municipal leader emphasized the ongoing commercial expansion in the area, leading to the creation of new job opportunities. He mentioned that they are currently at 80% compliance in terms of job creation, with plans for 100 direct job positions and 120 additional roles, including local companies for maintenance and cleaning services.
Furthermore, the Mayor highlighted the city’s increasing influence beyond its borders, stating that Valdepeñas has become more than just a local destination. The introduction of Tiendanimal broadens the range of pet-related products available in the city, incorporating six new female job positions. Tiendanimal, established in 2006, operates nearly 300 stores in Spain and offers over 30,000 products. To celebrate its grand opening, the Valdepeñas location is offering a 20% discount on all products on March 28th and 29th.
