Pruebas de certificación de idiomas convocadas para niveles básico, intermedio y avanzado.

The Official Gazette of Castilla-La Mancha (DOCM) publishes this Thursday a resolution from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, convening the general competence certification tests for this course at the Basic A2, Intermediate B1, Intermediate B2, Advanced C1, and Advanced C2 levels of language education in special regime for face-to-face, free, and distance modalities in our autonomous community.

The deadline for submitting applications will be ten business days starting from this Friday, February 21, to March 6, both inclusive. To proceed with the application for participation in the tests, it will be necessary to fill out the application electronically, as informed by the Junta in a press release.

Students in the face-to-face modality who only take the tests for the level and language in which they are enrolled do not need to submit any electronic application, as the tests are part of the normal course development.

On the other hand, students in the free and distance modalities must submit applications exclusively electronically, through the application form available in the Virtual Secretariat of the EducamosCLM platform (also accessible through the Electronic Headquarters of the Administration of the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha).

Students in the free and distance modalities must pay the corresponding public price. Those who are members of large families will receive a 50 percent discount, and those belonging to a special category large family, individuals with a disability degree equal to or greater than 33, victims of terrorist acts and gender violence, as well as their spouses and children, and individuals from families with a family income equal to or less than the income that entitles them to the minimum solidarity income, will be exempt from payment.

Applicants will pay the corresponding fees once they have been admitted to the tests. Therefore, once the claims regarding the provisional resolution have been resolved, the final resolution of admitted and non-admitted individuals to make the corresponding public payment will be published on the Education Portal.

Likewise, the final estimation or rejection of payment exemptions or reductions and the corresponding fee to be paid will be published in the Virtual Secretariat of the EducamosCLM platform for personalized consultation. When this information is available, a notification alert will be sent via text message to the mobile phone number provided in the application form.

Subsequently, individuals admitted to take the tests must pay the corresponding fee and prove payment within the seven business days following the publication of the final resolution.

PRUEBAS

The Ministry of Education, Culture, and Sports will organize two tests, one ordinary and one extraordinary. The tests will be common to all official language schools for the Intermediate B1, Intermediate B2, Advanced C1, and Advanced C2 levels.

The Basic A2 level tests will be developed, administered, and corrected by the corresponding didactic departments, either from official language schools or authorized centers to provide these teachings.

All tests will take place at the Official Language Schools and authorized centers for the teaching of the Basic A2 level of the English language. The written tests will be held between May 23 and June 18. On the other hand, the oral tests will take place on the date and time determined by each official language school or authorized center, with this information being published on their notice board and website.

For the certification of Intermediate B1, Intermediate B2, Advanced C1, and Advanced C2 levels, to obtain a final overall rating of «Pass,» it will be necessary to pass each of the five language activities that will constitute the certification tests with a minimum score of 50 percent in each of them and a final overall rating equal to or greater than 65 percent.
